Tetanus Toxoid Vaccine
Genpharm offers the Tetanus Toxoid vaccine under the brand name T-Vac and is available in single-dose (0.5mL) ampules, in 10-dose (5mL) vials, and in a 20-dose (10mL) vial presentations.

The Tetanus Toxoid vaccine is used to prevent tetanus, an acute, often fatal, disease caused by an exotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium Tetani. In the Philippines, many people are exposed to cuts, animal bites, punctures, burns, and other major and minor skin injuries. Tetanus may even be followed after elective surgeries, crush wounds, otitis media (ear infections), dental infections, abortion, and pregnancy.
Since first being developed in 1924, the tetanus Toxoid vaccine has been given at 2 months after birth and a booster shot of T-Vac is recommended every 10 years to maintain protective antitoxin levels.
